Gatewatcher unleashes cyberthreat intelligence (CTI) for all
GATEWATCHER, the European leader in network intrusion and advanced threat detection, today launched its Free CTI Browser Extension. This evolution of its free IoC Analysis service, draws on the resources of LastInfoSec*, the Gatewatcher Threat Intelligence platform.
Free CTI Browser Extension, available on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, makes life easier for cybersecurity professionals by providing real-time, contextual threat intelligence directly through their browser free of charge and with no time limit. Users can submit up to 50 suspicious items per day for immediate analysis and assessment of cyber risks.
Designed primarily for CTI analysts, Free CTI Browser Extension also simplifies the work of security operations centre (SOC) teams, CISOs and specialists who want to understand the context of their incident response.
Free CTI Browser Extension offers many advantages:
• Reduced cyberthreat ‘noise’ thanks to enriched and contextualised indicators of compromise (IoCs)
• Instant analysis of internal and external threats
• Accelerated analysis and decision-making by SOC teams
• Prioritised identification of threats spanning malware, phishing, vulnerabilities, and more
• Access to a library of several million IoCs, updated daily by 6,000 new qualified markers collected from 3,500 data sources
“The increase in the volume of threats is making it more difficult for cyber analysts to assess the criticality of alerts. Our free CTI Browser Extension will enable them to enhance their day-to-day cyber security and contextualise risks more effectively,” explains François Normand, Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Gatewatcher.
