SOC Detection capabilities by Synetis:
Synetis and Gatewatcher announce their partnership
Synetis integrated AionIQ® solution in its SOC
Synetis, the leading French consulting firm specializing in cybersecurity, today announced that it has strengthened the detection capabilities of its SOC by Synetis offering by integrating the AionIQ® solution from its technology partner Gatewatcher, which specializes in cyber threat detection.
SOC by Synetis is an à la carte service of the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) type. Synetis offers its customers the possibility of monitoring events on their Information Systems (IS), qualifying incidents and thus responding rapidly to crisis situations. To do this, Synetis has dedicated premises, located in Rennes, enabling it to achieve the level of 24/7 service required by such an activity, as well as a team specially trained in the management of technologies specific to the correlation and processing of events sent by the monitored infrastructures.
The SOC by Synetis, which already relies on EDR (supported by SentinelOne or HarfangLab), XDR and SIEM (supported by Sekoia.io) technologies, is now reinforced by Gatewatcher’s AionIQ® solution, a Network Detection and Response (NDR) tool. This solution offers a passive mapping of all assets present on the monitored IS, an increased detection and a high visibility of threats hidden in the heart of the network (ransomware, APTs or zero-day vulnerabilities exploitations) – and this even in case of encrypted flows – as well as a behavioral analysis of cyber threats (through Mitre Att&ck modeling of the risk by asset and user).
“Today, companies are looking for expert support from start to finish: from consulting to integration, and now including the operation of solutions. With a mission to meet all our customers’ needs and create a safer world, we were keen to implement 360° cyber defense and detection activities for our SOC by Synetis offering. Indeed, thanks to this strengthened partnership, we extend our detection capacity to the network level. This allows us to cover a larger defense surface, reduce the average detection time and thus counter attackers more effectively,” explains Rémi Habraken, Practice Manager for Operational Security at Synetis.
“Cybersecurity is a critical link in preserving the enterprise network. We are aware of the need for companies to have a better visibility of the cyber threat in order to ensure better protection of their critical infrastructure. In this context, the partnership between Gatewatcher and Synetis is an obvious choice: combining the quality of our services with the technological excellence of threat mapping is a real added value for our customers,” explains Jacques de La Rivière, CEO and co-founder of Gatewatcher.
Synetis adopts a “best of breed” approach in terms of technologies within its SOC, in order to constantly respond to new threats.
